Tokyo sees first snow of season, 15 days earlier than average
Osaka, in western Japan, also recorded its first snow, seven days earlier than average and two days earlier than last season.

TOKYO - The season's first snow fell in central Tokyo on Thursday, 15 days earlier than an average year and 25 days earlier than last season, the country's weather agency said.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the temperature was measured at 3.3°C in the capital at 7 am on Thursday, shortly after the snowfall was observed, Kyodo News Agency reported.
Osaka, in western Japan, also recorded its first snow, seven days earlier than average and two days earlier than last season.
The agency warned of heavy snowfall in the mountainous areas of western and southwestern Japan. - BERNAMA-KYODO
