SHAH ALAM - Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's daughter, Nooryana Najwa expressed her heartfelt gratitude after the Kuala Lumpur High Court acquitted and discharged her mother, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor on multiple charges on Thursday.

In an Instagram post, Nooryana conveyed her relief and praised her mother’s resilience in overcoming the challenges she had faced.

“Alhamdulillah, such a relief after six long years. She has fought her own battle for justice," she wrote.

Rosmah too expressed her gratitude for the court’s decision via Facebook.

“Syukur Alhamdulillah... MasyaAllah, Tabarakallah, Alhamdulillah. Allahuakbar. Allahuakbar. Allahuakbar. Allahu Mustaan,” she wrote, sharing her profound thanks to her lawyers, the judge, and everyone who had supported her.

Rosmah also included a verse from Surah Yusuf, verse 83, which emphasises patience.

On Thursday, the Kuala Lumpur High Court acquitted and discharged Rosmah from 12 counts of money laundering totaling RM7,097,750, as well as five counts of failing to declare her income to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).
