SHAH ALAM - A heartwarming display of unity was witnessed near the Damansara Toll Plaza in Petaling Jaya when bystanders from diverse backgrounds came together to rescue a family trapped in an overturned vehicle.

A TikTok video by user @ddarnahadrieanna, or Darnah showcased how people from different backgrounds worked together to free the victims trapped inside the vehicle.

"Those who helped included Malays, Chinese, Indians, and Sabahans," she said.

Explaining the situation, Darnah said her husband was the first to notice the accident, where the vehicle skidded and fell into a large drain shortly after passing the toll.

Without wasting any time, he rushed to help the victims, followed by other bystanders who joined in.

“Thankfully, my husband saw it. Otherwise, no one would have noticed because the car silently slipped into the drain,” she said.

According to the video, the victims were a Chinese family consisting of a man, a woman, and a child.
