The story begins as six individuals, each grappling with traumatic past events, find themselves trapped in a shadowy neighborhood without any recollection of how they got there.
Desperation mounts as they struggle to make sense of their reality. Their journey leads them to a strange shop, glowing at the end of a foreboding alleyway; a shop that seems to hold the answers to their past, present and future.
Packed with intrigue and emotional depth, Light Shop promises to immerse viewers in a hauntingly beautiful narrative.
The cast is as intriguing as the story itself. Ju Jihoon, known for Blood Free, Kingdom and The Spy Gone North, takes on the role of Jung Wonyoung, the enigmatic shop owner.
He is joined by Park Boyoung (Strong Girl Bong-soon, Oh My Ghost) as a nurse profoundly changed by a near-death experience. Bae Seongwoo (Veteran, The King) plays a detective seeking redemption, while Lee Jungeun (Parasite) portrays a grieving mother.
Rising star Kim Minha (Pachinko, Investigation Partners) rounds out the cast as Sunhae, a screenwriter searching for clarity amidst chaos.
Directed by Kim Hiewon, the series is set to deliver a visually stunning and emotionally resonant experience.
