Brunei launches screen use guidelines

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN -The Child Development Centre of Brunei launched the screen use guidelines last Sunday, local media reported.

According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the move aimed to empower parents to disconnect from their screens and reconnect through interaction with their children to promote healthy screen use.

The guidelines included no screen use for children under two and no background screen use for all ages.

The guidelines also emphasised the importance of parental involvement in keeping children safe online, the report said. - XINHUA
