SHAH ALAM - The appointment of Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali as the new Bersatu Secretary-General created a positive ripple among the people.
Bersatu Armada Chief Muhammad Hilman Idham said the move demonstrated the party’s readiness to lead the people back to Federal administrations.
He stated that developments within Bersatu always captured the attention of Malaysians.
"This shows that the people are hopeful and placing their trust in Bersatu to present leaders who can steer and represent the voices of the people," he said during an interview with Sinar at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly building here on Tuesday.
Muhammad Hilman, who is also the Gombak Setia assemblyman, expressed confidence in Azmin's ability to manage the party effectively, despite the heavy responsibilities.
He stressed that Azmin would need to ensure that Bersatu operated smoothly, systematically, and efficiently to win the hearts of the people.
"One of Azmin's strengths is his discipline, his work culture, and his approach to addressing any issues that arise among the people or party members," he said.
"I am confident that these qualities will give him an advantage in emerging as a future leader who will be able to assist Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in leading the country to Putrajaya," he added.
