As the year-end holiday spirit sweeps across the country, there’s no better way to celebrate than with a luxurious dining experience that tantalises the senses and warms the heart.
Nobu Kuala Lumpur, synonymous with exquisite culinary artistry, invites diners to gather their loved ones and revel in the season with its exclusive Festive Omakase menu, available from Dec 20 to 30.
A culinary celebration of the season
Picture this: a seven-course dining journey that embodies the joy and togetherness of the holidays, carefully crafted by Nobu KL’s Executive Chef Philip Leong.
“This time of year always brings excitement as we prepare to welcome guests with a menu that is as merry as it is unique.
“The dishes reflect our team's hard work, dedication and creativity, celebrating the spirit of Nobu during the end-year season,” says Leong.
From the first bite of the Kinmedai Calamansi Honey to the final indulgence of the Cherry White dessert, every course showcases a symphony of flavours that speak to Nobu’s innovative fusion of Japanese techniques with Peruvian influences.
Highlights of the Festive Omakase
The journey begins with the Kinmedai Calamansi Honey, a refreshing starter that balances the buttery richness of golden eye snapper with the tang of calamansi honey and the umami of shaved bottarga.
Moving to the Langoustine Sobagaki, diners will experience the perfect marriage of oceanic luxury and earthy depth, highlighted by crispy nori shitake senbei and a dollop of caviar for that extra touch of elegance.
The centrepiece of the meal, Wagyu Figs Teriyaki, is a bold showcase of indulgence. Searing A5 wagyu to perfection, Nobu elevates this dish with a luscious teriyaki reduction infused with figs and a smoky burnt cauliflower purée.
To close the meal on a high note, the Cherry White dessert delivers a dramatic unveiling with its smoky cloche presentation. The tart cherry compote paired with a creamy white chocolate mousse leaves a lingering sense of satisfaction.
Dining with a Heart
In the spirit of giving, Nobu KL is extending the warmth of the season to the community.
This December, the restaurant will host exclusive sushi workshops and green tea-making activities, where all proceeds from the green tea sales throughout the month will be donated to support Yayasan Chow Kit’s charitable initiatives.
