Fire truck flips in Sungai Buloh, injuring two volunteer fire and rescue team personnel
The truck reportedly flipped over and fell into a drain after colliding with another vehicle on the access road to the incident site.
SUNGAI BULOH - Two members of the Gombak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Team (PBS) sustained broken arms after the fire truck they were riding in was involved in an accident on Thursday.
In a Facebook post, PBS reported that the accident happened while the tanker truck was en route to a factory fire in Sungai Buloh.
The truck reportedly flipped over and fell into a drain after colliding with another vehicle on the access road to the incident site.
“Accidents happen unexpectedly; this one occurred as our team was heading to a factory fire in Sungai Buloh for the fourth consecutive day," PBS stated in the post.
Following the incident, the truck was taken out of service for repairs until further notice.
