SHAH ALAM - More than 60 professionals came together at Sinar Daily’s networking event She Leads 5 entitled "Bold Career Move: Shift or Stay?" today for a discussion on empowering women to make bold and fearless career decisions.

As the last event in the She Leads series for 2024, the session offered participants invaluable insights into navigating career shifts and making empowered choices.

The empowering discussion hosted by Jesse Chahal featured Chartered Accountant and Corporate Director Daneena Rahman and multi-artist Nini Marini who shared their expertise on topics ranging from recognising the right moment to change careers to the importance of a solid support system in achieving career goals.

Both of them brought unique perspectives on taking bold steps in their professional lives, inspiring participants to reflect deeply on their own career journeys.

The event was a mix of engaging discussions, personal reflections and practical guidance on career changes.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences and network with like-minded professionals.

Many described the insights as “eye-opening,” particularly on the critical role of family support in facilitating bold career moves.

For some, the discussion prompted a renewed sense of clarity in identifying the right career path.

Sinar Karangkraf group editor-in-chief Zamri Rambli celebrated the success of the five-part She Leads series, commending Sinar Daily’s team for their dedication to creating a space where women can find support and resources for their careers.

"These five She Leads events have been more successful than we could have imagined.

The She Leads series has been a hit throughout 2024, with each event drawing significant attendance from professionals across various sectors, eager to learn from experts and support one another in their ambitions.

Zambri also hinted at plans for a new series in 2025, with five additional She Leads events under discussion.

The upcoming events are “She Leads 6: Being Financially on Track for the Year,” “She Leads 7: Knowing What You’re Paying for in the Family,” “She Leads 8: Fair Pay, Fair Work: A Woman’s Worth in the Workforce,” and “She Leads 9: The Role of Corporations: Are You Keeping Your Women Healthy?”

As participants left the event, many expressed excitement for the future of the series, eager for what 2025 will bring.
