KUALA LUMPUR – A woman gave birth to a baby outside Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Jalil Stadium, where Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou was holding his concert.

It was reported that the heavily pregnant woman was waiting outside the stadium when she unexpectedly went into labour on Oct 26.

In a video shared online, the crowd cheered for the mother, with shouts echoing that the baby had arrived.

The newborn was safely transported into the ambulance, followed by the mother, all before the concert had even begun.

Social media reactions were swift, with some admiring the mother’s dedication to attend the concert despite being heavily pregnant.

Others humorously suggested names for the newborn, proposing "Jielun" (Jay Chou’s Chinese name) if the baby was a boy, or "Kunling" (after Chou’s wife, Hannah Quinlivan’s Chinese name) if it was a girl.

The Jay Chou concert, part of his Carnival World Tour, recently held stops at Singapore's National Stadium on Oct 11, 12, and 13, before reaching Kuala Lumpur.
