“National development will focus on projects of public interest and facilities that support industrial areas according to state priorities,” he said.

He made these remarks while presenting the Malaysia Madani Budget 2025 in the Dewan Rakyat on Friday.

He added that other states involved, such as Malacca, Perlis, Selangor, Kedah, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, and Terengganu, are also included in the list of public interest development projects.
