SHAH ALAM – Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad (AMB) expands its Sports Nutrition Awareness Project to the Malaysia Terengganu Sports School (SSMT) as part of the Ajinomoto Group’s Creating Shared Value (ASV) initiative.
The initiative focuses on enhancing the health and performance of student-athletes by providing them with better nutrition to support their journey toward 'Victory.'
The project's recent launch was officiated by Student Development and School Management Sector Deputy Director Jalaluddin Ismail, Kuala Nerus District Education Office, School Liaison Officer Asmadi Abdullah, SSMT principal Rosmawati Ismail, AMB’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Riichiro Osawa and AMB’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Noriko Fujimoto.
SSMT marks the fourth national sports school to benefit from this initiative, which first began at Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) in 2019.
The programme was expanded at the Malaysia Pahang Sports School (SSMP) in 2022 and the Sabah Malaysian Sports School (SMSS) in 2023, with the backing of the Education Ministry.
So far, over 1,200 student-athletes from BJSS, SSMP, and SMSS have benefited from the project, which offers sports nutrition through health talks by nutritionists, Winning Meals Kachimeshi® servings, and an information corner by AMB.
Through this collaboration, AMB aimed to reach even more student-athletes, encouraging balanced diets and healthier eating habits.
Committed to nurturing sportsmanship, AMB continued to empower young athletes to perform their best in competitions, reinforcing the motto 'Victory' through its philosophy of ‘Eat Well, Live Well.’
