If "Home Alone" is the perfect Christmas movie, then Legoland® Malaysia Resort is the perfect place to bring back childhood memories.

That’s exactly how I felt after my visit to Legoland.

What made it even more special was that this was my first time visiting Johor.

The long drive of 328km from Kuala Lumpur faded away the moment I arrived at Legoland.

One thing that immediately caught my attention was the abundance of Lego structures everywhere!

Seeing all the Lego creations brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood.

From Lego buildings to animals and dragons, the park was filled with creative displays, and many even made sounds, which made it fun to discover as I walked around.

I was also greeted by some friendly “monsters” as Legoland was hosting the Brick-or-Treat Monster Party from Oct 3 to Nov 3.

The party started right at the entrance, with exciting performances like “Franky, I’m Alive” and interactive shows such as “Jam with the Monsters.”

The fun continued with scavenger hunts, Brick-or-Treat bags, and activities where guests could build Lego monsters or pumpkins.

It was a spooky yet fun-filled celebration!

As for the theme park itself, it was a joy for both kids and adults.

There were six different themed lands, each with rides, shows, and educational activities.

My favourite was Lego Kingdoms, where castles, knights, and dragons filled the area.

The roller coasters, especially “The Dragon,” were thrilling!

The Land of Adventure had two exciting themes—Egypt and Dino Island.

I particularly enjoyed the Lost Kingdom Adventure, where I got to shoot lasers in an Egyptian-themed haunted house.

The Legoland Water Park was the perfect place to cool off from Johor Bahru’s tropical weather.

There were water slides, a lazy river, and play areas for both toddlers and older kids.

Despite an occasional rainstorm, the weather didn’t dampen my spirit, and the park returned to normal quickly after a brief downpour.

I would recommend checking school holidays to avoid crowds. When I visited, there were hardly any queues, and I could go on rides multiple times without waiting.

Now, let’s talk about the food.

Legoland Malaysia attracts visitors from all over the world, and the restaurants reflect that.

The park has 10 restaurants spread throughout different lands and zones. Whether you’re craving theme park favourites or want to try different global cuisines, there’s plenty to choose from.

I enjoyed delicious chicken and rice at one location and a tasty pizza at another.

You can find everything from Malay dishes to burgers, fries, and chicken sandwiches.

For families with younger children, Legoland is a fantastic destination.

Plenty of activities exist, from Lego tables at the rides to dedicated toddler play areas in the water park.

Overall, Legoland Malaysia Resort was a fun, magical experience.

It’s a place where both kids and adults can reconnect with their inner child and create lasting memories. I would definitely go back again!
