KLUANG - The scene at Perikatan Nasional's (PN) main operations room for the Mahkota by-election on Jalan Dahlia Kampung Melayu appeared gloomy and subdued.

Unlike the busier atmosphere during the candidate announcement and speeches at the operations room, tonight's situation was different, with fewer party supporters present to observe the latest results.

Only PN Mahkota by-election Director Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Johor PN Chairman Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal, and Johor PN Vice Chairman Mohd Solihan Badri, had been seen so far.

Media personnel, who had been at PN's main operations room since 7pm, were still waiting for the official results and comments from PN's top leaders.

It was understood that a closed-door discussion was taking place inside the main operations room, likely among PN leadership.

Earlier, the power supply at PN's operations room, which had been disrupted, was fully restored at 7pm.

The power supply at PN's main operations room had reportedly been cut off since 2.30pm.
