SUBANG BESTARI – Actress Fazura is taking legal action against several individuals who have spread false allegations of infidelity following her divorce filing against her husband, Fattah Amin.

Syariah lawyer Fakhrul Azman Abu Hassan, representing Fazura or her real name Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, 40 said that his client was deeply hurt by the defamatory statements and they have already identified the parties involved.

“As a result, we will be lodging a police report and filing complaints with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), including a civil lawsuit, as soon as possible.

“We have identified several individuals involved,” he said after the hearing of the divorce petition filed by the ‘Gol & Gincu’ actress at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court on Wednesday.

He emphasised that Fazura, who is also a businesswoman and the star of the film ‘Pendekar Awang,’ has never made any public statements regarding her marital issues on any social media platforms.

He added that Fazura never addressed any infidelity allegations; rather, they were brought up by certain individuals commenting on social media.
