SHAH ALAM - Following the success of last year's programme, Leave a Nest is once again partnering with the Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (Mranti) for the Global Market-Fit Programme (GMP) Japan 2024.

The collaboration, now in its second year, aimed to support startups and tech-driven businesses looking to enter the Japanese market.

In a joint statement by Mranti and Leave a Nest, it said that the 2024 edition of GMP Japan aimed to equip startups with the tools and strategies needed to navigate Japan's competitive business landscape.

“The Global Market-Fit Programme Japan 2024 offers a comprehensive array of resources, including expert-led lectures, personalised mentorship and targeted business matching sessions.

“The programme will culminate in a validation trip to Tokyo, where participants will showcase their products and services to Japanese investors, corporations and potential partners.

“This unique opportunity allows participants to refine their business strategies while building valuable connections with key industry leaders, investors and government bodies in Japan,” it said.

Started on Sept 9 and scheduled to run through October, the collaboration between Leave a Nest and Mranti was designed to open doors for Malaysian companies, promoting cross-border innovation and growth.

By offering tailored guidance and direct market exposure, the initiative provides invaluable support for companies looking to establish a strong foothold in Japan.
