SHAH ALAM - Workers at Ikhwan Delights restaurant in Sungai Penchala, Kuala Lumpur, have strongly denied allegations that the restaurant has been mixing foot water, beard, hair and other similar things in the food serve to customers.

In a 46-second video, four workers addressed the false claims that have been circulating nationwide.

According to them, the restaurant was registered in Kuala Lumpur under GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH).

"We deny the accusations made against us concerning various issues discussed in Malaysia.

"We are willing to swear in the name of Allah and His Messenger, 'Wallahi Wabillahi Watallahi'," they said in the video.

The video also included their sworn statements asserting the truth of their claims and their readiness to accept punishment from Allah if they were found to be lying.

"If we are lying, Allah will punish us, even though this issue has impacted and affected us. We hope the public can judge for themselves what is really happening," they added.

Earlier, it was reported that GISBH-owned restaurant, Nur Malaysia Makkah which is operating in Saudi Arabia also denied allegations spread on social media that they had mixed foot, beard, hair water and other similar things in their food.

The restaurant workers said the accusations were completely untrue and that they were prepared to be punished by Allah SWT if they were found to have been dishonest.

They also acknowledged the fact that their restaurant businesses have been affected by the recent incident in Malaysia.
