TEMERLOH - Pas has reiterated its stance to never join or cooperate with Pakatan Harapan (PH) in any form.

Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang stressed that the party would continue to stand firm in defending Perikatan Nasional (PN) and reviving the true Muafakat Nasional (MN).

"Pas will remain steadfast in recognising those who sincerely accept that Islam is the solution and rejecting those who outwardly appear righteous but have hidden agendas.

"Pas chooses the unity of Muslims and non-extremist non-Muslims, those who do not hinder Islam as the solution to all problems and the saviour of humanity, providing guidance from this world to the hereafter and affirming the necessity for Islam to lead," he said.

Hadi said this during his presidential keynote address at the 70th Pas Annual General Assembly held at Al-Makmur Complex here on Saturday.

Furthermore, Hadi, who is also the Marang MP, explained that Pas remained guided by the Quran, Sunnah and ijtihad through experience, choosing a peaceful democratic approach and the unity of the ummah.

He said this was to fulfil the Islamic political agenda based on guidance, wisdom, maturity, and prosperity.

"This is to ensure the preservation of Islam and Malay supremacy in this beloved homeland.

"Let us strengthen our ranks with the educational agenda implemented at every level and extend the party's influence and leadership in society with the agenda of da'wah and politics.

"May all these efforts be accepted by Allah as righteous deeds," he said.
