SHAH ALAM - Actress and entrepreneur Nur Fazura Sharifuddin has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, actor and singer Fattah Amin, at the Shah Alam Syariah Court.

The news comes amidst speculation about the couple's relationship on social media, following a noticeable decline in their online interactions.

Fazura took to Instagram to share a poignant quote by Rumi, reflecting on the personal nature of her journey and the challenges she is currently facing.

“It’s your road and yours alone, others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you,” she shared on Friday in her post alongside a picture of herself.

Fazura's choice to share this quote publicly reflects her desire to address the situation with grace and introspection.

By acknowledging the deeply personal nature of her journey, she emphasises that while support from others is valuable, the ultimate responsibility for navigating her path lies with herself.

This quote offered a glimpse into her emotional state and her approach to handling the challenges she is currently facing.

According to a local media portal, while sources have confirmed the filing of the divorce documents, detailed information about the case remains undisclosed.

Fazura’s legal team handled the court proceedings earlier today in her absence, and the reasons for the divorce have not been made public.

Earlier in July, Fazura had publicly refuted rumours of marital problems, maintaining that her relationship with Fattah was stable and the gossip unfounded.

She had stressed that the couple deliberately chose not to showcase their personal happiness on social media out of respect for global issues, particularly the suffering in Palestine.

This announcement represents a major turn of events for the couple, whose relationship has been under public scrutiny since their wedding.

Their marriage, which was once celebrated widely by fans and the media, appeared to be strong until recent developments.

Fazura and Fattah, who married on November 27, 2017, have a four-year-old daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya.
