SHAH ALAM - Nicholas Perry, better known by his online alias Nikocado Avocado has stunned his millions of fans after revealing a dramatic 114-kilogramme (kg) weight loss, kept secret for over two years.
Perry, renowned for his food-focused YouTube content, confessed to the transformation in a viral video entitled "Two Steps Ahead."
The video, which has garnered over 20 million views, featured Perry wearing a panda mask, saying, "I am always two steps ahead," before unveiling his weight loss.
He said he had been losing weight in secret while continuing to upload pre-recorded videos to keep his channel active.
Fans were left in awe of his ability to manage both his health journey and his online persona, which earned him admiration for his dedication and clever strategy.
"This has been the greatest social experiment of my life. It's concerning, it's compelling, it's gripping to watch these unwell, disoriented individuals roam the internet in search of stories, ideas and rivalries that make them feel encouraged and engaged," Perry said.
He shared that he had lost 114 kilogrammes during what he referred to as a "long dream."
In a follow-up video entitled "Hi" uploaded to a separate YouTube channel, Perry appeared with his pet parrot and offered more insight into how he pulled off his stunt.
He revealed that all of his content for the past two years had been pre-recorded, allowing him to focus on his weight loss without anyone noticing.
Fans were astonished by the revelation.
