Petronas spreads Merdeka joy with ‘Terjah Merdeka’

SERDANG - In a festive celebration of Merdeka and Malaysia Day, Petronas brought together customers and the community with its ‘Terjah Merdeka with Mesra Rewards’ event.
Held at Petronas Solaris Putra in Serdang earlier today, the event was packed with prizes, games and joyful interactions, leaving many participants walking away with more than just fuel in their tanks.
The event saw enthusiastic participants lining up for a chance to spin the prize wheel, aiming to get their hands on the prizes.
The premise was simple; spend RM40 on fuel or RM10 on any products inside the Mesra shop, or simply install the Setel app and select either option for a chance to try their luck.
The rewards up for grabs ranged from RM50 Petronas gift cards to exclusive merchandise like MotoGP caps, tumblers and t-shirts.
Among the attendees was 34-year-old Wan Zakuan Rizuan, who shared his excitement about the event.
"I believe events like these easily attract participants because they are fun. The games and prizes, while simple, still have great appeal. As a Petronas customer myself, and with my wife working for Petronas, we frequently use the Setel app for its convenience.
“I hope Petronas continues to organise more of these events, especially during special occasions like Independence Day and Malaysia Day, to bring people together,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jeff Ng, a 51-year-old participant, was thrilled to walk away with a new tumbler.
“This is a fantastic event by Petronas and Sinar Harian, offering the public an opportunity to participate in fun activities while winning prizes.
“As a long-time Petronas customer, I am thrilled to be heading back to Johor with a new tumbler in hand,” he said with a smile.
