Nenggiri by-election: Annuar Musa congratulates BN for unofficial victory

SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) operations director for the Nenggiri by-election Tan Sri Annuar Musa concedes defeat.
In a social media post with the title "N43 Nenggiri By-Election Results", he congratulated Barisan Nasional's (BN) win.
"BN has won in the by-election with a comfortable majority.
"We congratulate the winner. May you carry the duty that has been entrusted to you.
"The people of Nenggiri had made their choice. We must respect the decision. May the people of Nenggiri get proper justice from the governing administration," he wrote.
The Nenggiri state assembly by-election saw a one-on-one fight between BN candidate Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani and Pas candidate Mohd Rizwadi Ismail representing PN.
BN is currently leading.
The winner who would represent the Nenggiri state legislative would be announced at 9pm, tonight.
