SHAH ALAM - Nur Irfahanie Mokhtar, the sister of the late Nidza Afham Mokhtar, hopes her brother's body has not sustained significant injuries.

She said that they were still unaware of the body's condition and remained hopeful for the best outcome.

"The body identification was done by my husband yesterday.

"For the autopsy this morning, we are hoping for good results and that there are no injuries," she said while waiting in front of the Forensic Medical Unit at Shah Alam Hospital today.

Her husband, Muhammad Effie Amron, 34, said that he identified the body around 8pm near Jalan Tepi Sungai, Sungai Kolok, close to the Sungai Klang.

"I am confident it was him based on his appearance and the last clothes he wore, even though his body had changed after being in the water for a long time," he said tearfully.

Earlier, police confirmed they received a report about the singer's disappearance after he left home at 7.45pm on Tuesday.

The report was made by the victim's sibling at 4.22pm, stating that Nidza Afham was last seen wearing a blue and black shirt when he left his home in Bandar Puteri, Klang, using an e-hailing service to go jogging at Sultan Sulaiman Stadium, Klang.

Nidza Afham's last known location was Kota Bridge, near the KLANG Royal City Council (MBDK).

Nidza Afham had previously participated in the reality show I Can See Your Voice 3 before releasing a single titled Ternyata Bukan Aku.
