KUALA LUMPUR - KPJ Healthcare Berhad has unveiled a dynamic rebrand, marked by a striking new logo that encapsulates the hospital chain's commitment to transformation, integrating cutting-edge technology and patient-centric care to meet the evolving challenges of the healthcare industry.

This is the first time the Johor Corporation (JCorp)-owned company has gone through a major rebranding exercise after 43 years.

The new logo, now adorned in gold with rounder edges and soft curves, symbolises KPJ Healthcare's commitment to excellence, unity and compassion.

This contemporary design reflects the warmth and protection that KPJ Healthcare aims to provide to all its patients.

Technological Innovation at the Core

KPJ Healthcare President and Managing Director Chin Keat Chyuan said that the company’s transformation journey, whereby the rebranding initiative is a part of, is deeply rooted in technological advancement and innovation.

“Our rebranding represents more than a change in logo; it represents KPJ Healthcare’s progress and our dedication to providing superior patient experiences through technological innovation,” he said.

This transformation is part of KPJ Healthcare's broader strategy to establish Centres of Excellence across its network.

These centres will focus on specialised fields such as heart and lungs, neurology, orthopaedics and oncology, utilising advanced robotic technology to enhance surgical precision and patient recovery.

Celebrating Our Care for Life Journey

The rebranding event, themed "Celebration of Our Care for Life Journey," was attended by Guest of Honour YBhg. Dato' Sri Norazman Ayob, Deputy Secretary-General (Finance) of the Malaysian Ministry of Health, along with other esteemed guests including YBhg. Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim, President & Chief Executive of Johor Corporation (JCorp), Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Ismail Haji Bakar, Chairman of KPJ Healthcare, as well as other notable figures from the healthcare and business sectors.

"The rebranding exercise goes hand-in-hand with the enhancement of our service delivery to all stakeholders," Chin explained.

“These values are more than just words; they guide our daily actions and decisions,” said Chin.

Chin also explained that much of the transformation was inspired by their major shareholders, JCorp, who challenged the company to continue to grow exponentially and focus on how to strengthen their market position while enhancing their competitiveness index.

KPJ Healthcare’s transformation strategy is encapsulated in its commitment to the 5P's, which stand for Patients through the delivery of value-based and personalised services by experts; People through the foster of a supportive environment for talent and excellence, Physicians through the provision of a dynamic environment that integrates medical education and research for optimal outcomes; Partners through collaborative opportunities and Planet through the integration of eco-friendly practices and sustainable solutions in its operations.

“While our look is refreshed, our 'Care for Life' promise remains unchanged. We are committed to being your trusted healthcare partner at every stage of life, empowering individuals to take charge of their health,” Chin concluded.
