PETALING JAYA - GXBank has launched ‘GX Untuk Semua’, an initiative which aims to nurture local tech talents, develop core competencies and industry best practices, and provide innovative solutions.

This initiative will leverage the latest technology, such as artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions for risk management and fraud prevention.

At the same time, it aims to promote entrepreneurship and provide opportunities to explore tech-based solutions for future digital financial needs.

Speaking to reporters at the launch of GXBank’s headquarters and Centre of Excellence here today, Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo said GXBank’s initiative is expected to assist in the growth of the nation’s digital economy.

"This (the initiative) is something that we need to consider moving forward. This may become a necessity given the pace of trade today.

"We also encourage more initiatives that facilitate digital payments,” he said.

He added that the government supports these efforts, which would contribute to the development of ecosystems that enhance digital operations. - BERNAMA
