Albertine Leo: Missing girl found safe in Selangor

BATANG KALI - A six-year-old girl reported missing in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru, last Saturday has been found safe.

It is understood that the victim, Albertine Leo Jia Hui, was found at a location in Batang Kali, Selangor.

This was confirmed by Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.

"Yes, she was found in the Batang Kali area, Selangor," he said briefly on Tuesday.

A press conference was also held by Johor Police on Tuesday regarding the development of the case.

Albertine Leo, 6, was reported missing during the Japanese Bon Odori Festival at Eco Galleria, Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru, around 8.30pm on July 20.

In the incident, the victim's mother, Leo Qieo Xin, 37, who was one of the stall operators at the festival, was attending to customers when she realised her daughter was missing.
