SHAH ALAM - A former student of the late Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, known as Tasya took to TikTok on Wednesday to express her grief and share heartfelt memories of her beloved teacher.

The 25-year-old teacher was tragically murdered on July 10.

In a touching post, the student shared a photo of herself with Nur Farah alongside a screenshot of a message the later teacher sent offering guidance.

The message focused on navigating friendships during the student's crucial year preparing for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exams.

In the message, Nur Farah counselled her student, a candidate for the SPM 2024, to be cautious in choosing friends.

"Teacher wants you to always be strong. Don't be sad, okay?

"With SPM coming up, focus on your studies. If you're worried about not having friends, find someone you can trust. If not, stick with acquaintances.

"When they're there, they're there. If not, it's fine. Just find your circle.

Nur Farah's body was discovered on Monday in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor.

She had been missing since July 10 after delivering a rental car to a customer.

Subsequently, a 26-year-old man, also a policeman was arrested and remanded under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

In her message, Nur Farah also advised her student not to suppress her emotions but to confide in someone trustworthy.

"Right now, we're building our future. Regardless of those around us, our well-being is paramount.

"When we succeed, we'll meet many people. If you feel lonely now, that's okay; just keep going. But don't bottle up your feelings too much; it's not healthy.

"Find someone you trust to talk to about your feelings. I wish you all the best. I believe in you. If you ever want to share your stories with me, I'm here," she added.
