MELAKA - An e-hailing driver has been reported missing since last Thursday after informing his family that he would be taking a passenger to Teluk Intan, Perak.

Saiful Azwan Dahlan, 38, said his brother, Syahrul Ashraf, 33, who lives in Pandan Indah, Ampang, has been unreachable by family members, including his wife.

"The last time I contacted my brother was via WhatsApp last Thursday, and he only mentioned that he would be taking a passenger to Teluk Intan.

"The next day, I could no longer reach him, and this continues to be the case," he told Sinar on Wednesday.

He clarified that his brother never complained of facing any problems before he was reported missing.

"He has never gone missing like this before or had any family issues.

"His wife and four children, aged between nine and two years old, are always awaiting his return," he added.

Saiful stated that a police report had been filed at the Pandan Indah Police Station last Sunday regarding his brother's disappearance.

He hopes that the public, with any information, will come forward and contact the family.

"Anyone with information about Syahrul Ashraf's whereabouts is urged to help by contacting me at 017-6328457," he added.
