SUNGAI BULOH - "I actually do not know the relationship status between my sister and the suspect detained by the police."

This was said by Mohd Farriza Azmi Abdullah, the brother of murder victim Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, 25, when contacted by Sinar on Tuesday.

The relationship status Farah and the man detained by the police has come into question after several individuals posted on social media that the suspect was not the boyfriend of the victim, as claimed.

There were also claims that it was the suspect who was 'obsessed' with Farah, whereas she was not interested in the man.

It was reported that the body of Farah, who had been missing since July 10, was found on Monday afternoon in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, not far from Felda Gedangsa in Hulu Selangor.

Farriza said although he was close to his late sister, Farah never discussed her personal matters with him.

In the meantime, he said that the family is still waiting for the police report and investigation results.
