Murder case of Nur Farah Kartini: Boyfriend arrested - Police
Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan has confirmed that the 26-year-old local man, a civil servant, has been detained.
SINAR DAILY REPORTERHULU SELANGOR - Police have arrested the boyfriend of Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah whose body was found in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang on Monday.
Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan has confirmed that the 26-year-old local man, a civil servant, has been detained.
"The investigation has been classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code," he told Sinar yesterday.
Hussein noted that the woman's body was discovered around 6pm.
"Preliminary examinations confirm that the body is believed to be that of the victim who was reported missing in relation to a report filed in Tanjung Malim last Wednesday," he said.
It was reported that the victim had gone missing after allegedly delivering a rental car to a customer.
A police report was subsequently filed for the missing person, Nur Farah, a former student of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
The victim originally from Sarawak was last seen wearing blue corporate attire, a headscarf, and black slack pants.
