SHAH ALAM - Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has appealed to the public, particularly residents around Precinct 10 Putrajaya to contact him if they spot his beloved cat, missing for the past two days.

He said that Muffin, the cat, had never ventured outside before but had recently acquired the skill to climb.

"To the residents of Precinct 10 Putrajaya, if you come across this orange and white cat, please get in touch with me.

"It has been two days since Muffin hasn't returned home.

"He has never been outside the house before, but he recently learned to climb out.

"Muffin is very friendly, even with people he doesn't know," he wrote in a post on X today.

Comments on the post revealed that while many social media users found it amusing to see the minister, who typically focuses on political issues, sharing a personal story, others expressed concern that the cat may have been taken by someone.

"What a cute cat! How could he go missing... maybe he was kidnapped, someone borrowed him for a while.

"Hope he returns home soon," commented Uyun Zahra.

"It must be sad not knowing Muffin has been missing for two days. Hope he is found safe," added Sharan Pretam Singh.
