Harith Iskander's wife Dr Jezamine Lim, files for divorce
She declined to comment further on the reason behind the divorce.
Comedian Harith Iskander's wife, Dr Jezamine Lim has filed for divorce at the Syariah Lower Court in Kuala Lumpur.
It is believed that the court case is expected to proceed soon.
Although the exact filing date remains unclear, a picture of her dressed in a robe and headscarf, accompanied by Syariah lawyer Datuk Akberdien Abdul Kadir who has previously represented several celebrities in their divorce cases has emerged.
On Tuesday (July 9), Dr Jezamine confirmed that she had filed for divorce from Harith last month (June).
"Yes, I have filed for divorce. I don't recall the exact date, but it was about a month ago," she said in a news report.
When asked about the reasons behind her decision, she declined to comment, stating she was not ready to discuss the issue publicly.
"I have no comments at this time. Maybe I will share later," she briefly mentioned.
Harith, 58, also reportedly declined to comment.
"I have no comments on that matter," he said.
Harith and Dr Lim, 41, were married on June 12, 2010. They have three children together: Zander Xayne, 14, Alessandra Jayne, 11, and Zydane Zayne, nine.
