NIBONG TEBAL - Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) candidate Joohari Ariffin, running in tomorrow's Sungai Bakap by-election, expressed happiness over the strong support he has received from supporters, attributing it to his comprehensive campaign efforts.

Joohari, a PhD holder, stressed the importance of a leader prioritising not only education but also proper conduct.

“We need to vote for a leader with aspirations that align with the constitutional government’s principles so that their voices can be heard easily, not just at the state level but also at the Federal level,” he addressed the audience at PH grand finale ceramah at Bandar Tasek Mutiara here today.

The Sungai Bakap-born candidate stated that his primary focus would be on improving the infrastructure of Sungai Bakap if he wins the election.

He also highlighted the importance of maintaining fairness and treating everyone equitably as a leader.

“We have come down to oversee the state of the villagers here twice now,” he said.

Addressing incidents of PH banners and flags being stolen and vandalised with inappropriate words, he noted that it is normal to face disagreements from the Opposition.

“Maintaining this mindset has kept me smiling to this day,” Joohari said.
