SHAH ALAM - Anticipation is building as Sinar Daily prepares for Karnival Rakyat Karangkraf which will take place for three days starting July 26.

Amid the array of exciting activities and attractions, a highlight will be the "Confession Session" hosted by Sinar Daily.

This session is a continuation from last year's Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari's success where experts were on the ground with Sinar Daily to meet with those in need.

The programme offers a safe and confidential space for individuals facing personal challenges to take their first step towards seeking help.

These private conversations are designed to provide comfort and guidance, encouraging those in need to reach out and share their burdens.

Participants of the "Confession Session" will also receive a Sinar Daily Goodie Bag as a token of appreciation for their bravery in sharing their stories.

Karnival Rakyat Karangkraf, themed "Kembalikan Nostalgia" will take place at the Karangkraf Complex, here between 9am and 7pm, from July 26 to July 28.

Mental health remained a significant issue in Malaysia.

According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS) 2015, 29 per cent of Malaysian adults were reported to have mental health disorder.

The NHMS 2019 found that 2.3 per cent of Malaysian adults suffered from depression.

These statistics highlighted the importance of events like the "Confession Session" which aimed to provide accessible mental health support to the public.

With its diverse programmes and activities, Karnival Rakyat Karangkraf promises to be a lively event that appeals to all ages and interests.

Join us at Karnival Rakyat Karangkraf and take part in this significant initiative to support mental well-being.

The carnival will also be packed with a variety of exciting activities for everyone to enjoy.
