Tattoo artist nabbed for alleged sodomy
Checks revealed that the suspect has two previous criminal records.
PETALING JAYA - A tattoo artist suspected of sodomising a male client at his premises was arrested in Sungai Way here on Wednesday.
Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Ja'afar said the 37-year-old suspect was apprehended at approximately 12.05 am.
"Checks revealed that the suspect has two previous criminal records.
"The suspect is believed to have applied oil on the victim, who came to get a tattoo, causing the victim to lose consciousness before he proceeded to sodomise him," he told Sinar Harian on Thursday.
He said the suspect is currently remanded for four days until Sunday for investigation under Section 377B of the Penal Code.
He added that the investigation is ongoing to identify the oil substance used by the suspect.
In the incident, which occurred around 9.30 pm on Tuesday, the 24-year-old victim came to the shop to get a flower tattoo on his body.
The suspect applied the oil, causing the victim to lose consciousness before starting to tattoo a flower on the client's right arm.
When the victim regained consciousness, he found himself naked and felt pain in his anal area.
