This innovative design draws inspiration from various sports - running, fencing, volleyball and wrestling - to create a shoe that embodies versatility, self-expression and comfort.

The design team delved deep into the brand’s archives, drawing inspiration from nearly 20 heritage silhouettes. These included shoes originally designed for karate, fencing, soccer, wrestling, triple jump and steeple chase.

The outcome is a design that encapsulates the essence of these varied sports whilte presenting a fresh, modern aesthetic.

But it’s not just about sports. The design also takes cues from modern artistry across various mediums, including pottery, which is evident in the shoe’s construction and attention to detail.

Take a look at the outsole tread pattern, and you’ll find that it’s reminiscent of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star which is then stamped with the Star log from the Run Star Hike introduced back in 2019.

Running through the mix of materials and colours, it combines nylon, suede and leather.

The shoe is available in an array of bold colour choices which includes Goldwn Wren, Blue, Red, Egret and Black.

The Converse Run Star Trainer is available on Converse.my and at Converse The Exchange TRX.
