Zayn Rayyan’s mother leaves court

Earlier, the woman was brought to the court in a police van at 10.30am before being taken into the court.

PETALING JAYA - Only the mother of Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matin, who has been remanded since June 1 to assist in the investigation of the murder case of the autistic child was seen leaving the court at 12.50pm today.

It was understood that she was brought in to record a statement at the court this morning.

The 29-year-old woman, clad in purple lockup outfit, was seen tightly guarded by the police at the court lobby before being brought into a van.

Earlier, the woman was brought to the court in a police van at 10.30am before being taken into the court.

At 10.55am, Zayn Rayyan's grandfather Zahari Mohd Reba, grandmother and several other family members also entered the court to get the latest updates.

This was followed by the arrival of two lawyers representing the woman, Fahmi Abd Moin and Mahmud Abdul Jumaat, a few minutes later.
