This innovative platform highlights the company’s commitment to digitizing its comprehensive suite of Shariah-compliant wealth management solutions.
SHAH ALAM – Maybank Islamic has unveiled MyQurban, a digital financial service that provides a seamless and convenient way for customers to perform Qurban online during Aidiladha.
This innovative platform highlights the company’s commitment to digitizing its comprehensive suite of Shariah-compliant wealth management solutions, making them more accessible to modern, tech-savvy Muslims.
MyQurban simplifies the Qurban process, catering to Muslims who are comfortable with digital services. This initiative, supported by partnerships with Yayasan Budi Ihsan Malaysia (YBIM), EZQurban, Aqiqah Centre, and Aqiqah4u, offers customers the flexibility to participate in Qurban both locally and internationally at more affordable rates.
An attractive feature of MyQurban is the RM20 discount on each Qurban order, enhancing affordability.
Additionally, the platform promotes Sadaqah (charitable giving) by matching donations for every Qurban threshold reached, channeling funds to support humanitarian efforts in Palestine through Mercy Malaysia.
Maybank Islamic Group chief executive officer Datuk Muzaffar Hisham said: “Qurban holds deep spiritual importance. As Malaysia's leading Islamic bank, we continuously innovate to provide our customers with peace of mind, enabling them to fulfill this spiritual obligation effortlessly.”.
Qurban, an act of wealth purification, epitomises Islamic wealth planning, reminding the Muslim community of gratitude, compassion, charity, and unity.
“By embracing the values of Qurban, we aim to create a substantial community impact through the Sadaqah initiative,” Muzaffar added.
“The more collective Qurban orders we receive, the greater the funds we can raise to support Palestinian humanitarian causes.”
MyQurban is a key offering within Maybank Islamic's extensive suite of Islamic Wealth Management products and services, encompassing the five pillars of wealth management: creation, accumulation, protection, purification, and distribution.
The exclusive launch event for Maybank Islamic Private Wealth customers featured a special appearance by Mufti Menk, a globally recognized Islamic scholar known for his inspirational talks on peace, compassion, and personal growth.
The campaign will run until June 19, and interested individuals can register at maybank.my/myqurban.
