SHAH ALAM - Tetr College of Business introduces an innovative undergraduate degree programme that takes students across seven countries in four years, emphasising practical business skills and global experience.

This unique programme emphasises learning by doing, allowing students to build businesses across the globe during their studies.

As part of this ambitious initiative, Tetr is offering the world’s largest single-intake scholarship fund, amounting to USD 12 million, which will provide 60 full scholarships for its fall 2024 cohort.

The four-year degree programme will see students studying at leading educational institutions in seven different countries. During their studies, they will apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings by establishing businesses tailored to each region's context.

To ensure academic rigour, Tetr has partnered with top universities ranked by the Financial Times, such as NUS Singapore, SDA Bocconi, and IIT.

"Tetr is curating a learning experience that gives students the chance to truly soak in these experiences and philosophies for businesses from multiple cultures.

“From the bustling streets of Milan during Fashion Week to the adrenaline-fueled atmosphere of the Grand Prix in Italy, they get to see and experience these things for themselves to learn from real-life applications rather than rote textbook learning,” he said.

The academic council at Tetr is composed of educators and advisors from prestigious institutions like Harvard, Stanford, and MIT, as well as senior leaders from top organisations such as Estee Lauder, American Express, SoftBank, NASA, and Goldman Sachs.

This blend of academic and industry expertise ensures students receive a well-rounded, impactful education.

Prospective students are assessed through the Tetr Trial, a 45-minute game-based test designed to evaluate potential. Successful candidates are then interviewed by the Tetr academic council.

Tetr’s educational model, which emphasises learning business by building business, aims to equip students with the practical skills and experiences essential for success in today’s job market.

This includes working with real customers, creating live campaigns, maintaining accounts, and promoting creativity through hands-on experiences. The curriculum is designed to be deeply contextual, allowing students to travel to a new country each semester.

This international roster includes countries like the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, France, and Brazil.

By attending classes in person and experiencing diverse cultures and business environments firsthand, students will develop a nuanced understanding of global markets and become entrepreneurial leaders ready for the post-Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) era.
