Singer Ning Baizura was slammed by netizens for not knowing the meaning of Rafah after video clip of her went viral on social media.

In a 22-second video that was re-shared on the X application, Ning was seen as if she did not know about the slogan 'All Eyes On Rafah' which is also a sign of solidarity for the war victims in Palestine.

"All eyes on Rafah? What is that?," she said responding to a comment from an individual during a live broadcast session.

However, the reaction given by the prominent singer shook everyone as she gave the impression that she was not familiar with the current issue.

Her statement sparked outrageous comments and most netizen described her as 'insensitive' to the war that is raging in Palestine.

"Can't believe the words came out from a Muslim and also a Malaysian. You may laugh now, can't blame her, maybe she doesn't have enough religion in his heart or maybe she thinks it won't happen to her son or her family," Hazana Abdul Hamid commented.

Meanwhile another user Nurul Haziqah who expressed her utmost dissapointment in the comment section said genocide is not something to make fun with.

"Is genocide funny to you. Is seeing kids under the rubbles crying and maimed funny to you? Is knowing pregnant mothers undergo c-sec without anesthesia funny to you? Are starving people funny?," she said.

Another user Yan Putra Surya commented "All eyes on Rafah means we care about people in Rafah, not just seeing them as you said. Think before you speak! It’s not funny to make jokes about anything related to Palestine."

Rafah is a Palestinian city in the southern Gaza Strip.

Latest data shows at least 35,173 Palestinians including more than 14,500 children have died in the genocide.
