Nurulhidayah finally 'officially' married after seven years? Yes, she is!

SHAH ALAM - It is official, the daughter of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Datuk Nurulhidayah is legally married to Datuk Saiful Nizam Mohd Yusoff after seven years.

On her Instagram page, Nurul posted a picture with her husband along with a caption of being grateful for their marriage, which is now certified in Malaysia.

"Alhamdulillah. Trust the process and trust Allah the most.

"I would be a lie to say there are no arguments, no differences of opinion in a household. We only have Allah for every happiness and tranquillity.

"We are not a perfect couple, nor do we pursue perfection solely oriented towards the world," she said.

Nurul said she and her partner continuously remained grateful when they were tested the most during the relationship.

"We learn to be grateful and appreciate every time a test occurs.

"May Allah continue to bestow upon us all success, worldly and hereafter happiness," she said.

The simple ceremony was attended by her parents and married couple Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamad Jiwa and Datuk Siti Nurhaliza.

Today, her post on her marriage announcement sparked heartfelt wishes from netizens, however, some were confused about the procedure Nurulhidayah had announced her wedding before.

One netizen commented 'Aik, didn't you declare your marriage before?.' Nurul then explained that to be legally married in Malaysia, one should obtain marriage certificate from the Malaysian government.

"It's a marriage certificate from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to be legal in Malaysia you need to have a marriage certificate from the Malaysian government," she said.
