Light aircraft crashes in Besout, Tanjung Malim
Initial information revealed two victims comprising of a man and a woman were onboard of the plane.
SINAR DAILY REPORTERTANJUNG MALIM - A light aircraft crashes in a plantation area at Besout 2 Tambahan, Sungkai, this morning.
It is understood that the incident occurred at 9.55am.
Initial information revealed two victims comprising of a man and a woman were onboard of the plane.
Perak Police Chief Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri when contacted by Bernama confirmed the incident.
"Yes, training aircraft, passengers involved are safe.
"The two victims involved, a man and a woman were sent to Slim River Hospital," he said.
He said so far the type of aircraft has not been confirmed.
Earlier, the video of the incident went viral on WhatsApp application.
In the video, a woman was seen asking for help from a man who had seen the incident and found the aircraft stuck in between trees.
"How many people (involved)?" the man asked, to which the woman replied two and said that the other victim could not get out.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) is expected to issue a statement on the incident.
