Bersatu prepares data-driven campaign for KKB by-election - Azmin
Bersatu Selangor gears up for KKB by-election with 12 focused portfolios
SHAH ALAM - Bersatu Selangor has formed 12 portfolios in preparation for the upcoming Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election on May 11.
The party's Selangor chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali disclosed that these portfolios encompass initiatives aimed at engaging youth and non-Malay voters to fortify the election machinery.
Azmin said that all Bersatu divisions, MPs, and State Assembly members bear responsibility for overseeing the 16 polling districts within the pertinent State Legislative Assembly.
"At a Special Meeting of the Selangor Bersatu leadership with Bersatu State Assembly members in Selangor last night (Monday), we delved into preparations for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election machinery.
"I presented comprehensive data and statistics for each of the 16 polling districts, along with early voting performance," he said in a statement today.
The meeting, he pointed out, also explored innovative strategies to bolster voter support for the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.
"We have prepared printed materials, including pamphlets addressing economic issues and the cost of living for the people.
"Logistics and campaign materials such as flags and banners will be deployed this week," he added.
Azmin stressed the party's commitment to enhancing election machinery and operations across five polling districts.
He also confirmed the establishment of a special committee dedicated to garnering support among the Indian and Orang Asli communities.
"I commend the Division Chiefs, Srikandi (women's wing), Armada (youth wing), Srikandi Muda (young women's wing), and Bersekutu (associate members) for their unwavering enthusiasm in mobilising their energy and ideas to strengthen the PN machinery in KKB (Kuala Kubu Baharu)," he said.
