SHAH ALAM – As the month of Ramadan begins, a time of spiritual reflection and devotion leading up to the joyous Hari Raya celebrations, Malaysia's leading homegrown Halal Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain Marrybrown brings back its highly anticipated Riang Ramadan Raya menu with fan-favourite – Ayam Penyet.
The menu will be available exclusively during Ramadan and Hari Raya from today until April 28 at all outlets nationwide, while stocks last.
Its chief executive officer Daniel Chan said their commitment extended beyond merely serving tasty food and aimed to offer an experience that embodied the spirit of unity and festivity deeply ingrained in the Malaysian culture.
"This year, Marrybrown is excited to introduce captivating new additions to our Riang Ramadan Raya menu, promising an unforgettable culinary journey for all.
"Building upon the resounding success of our previous offerings, with great excitement, we’re elevating the experience by introducing our unique take on Ayam Penyet - featuring our signature crispy chicken showered with an array of wholesome flavours," he said.
Continuously aiming to offer "something different" for customers, Marrybrown’s menu promises a delightful culinary adventure for all by incorporating flavour-packed items guaranteed to tantalise taste buds such as the aromatic Ayam Penyet Burger Combo, featuring Marrybrown’s signature crispy chicken nestled between soft, green-coloured buns, crowned with a special sambal sauce, priced from RM17.60.
Fans and customers could also indulge in the fragrant Nasi Ayam Penyet Combo, a hearty dish of aromatic rice paired with tender Marrybrown’s signature crispy chicken, crispy kriuk kriuk, tempeh and a special sambal sauce, complemented with a bowl of soup, priced from RM16.90.
Chicken lovers can savour the Ayam Penyet Combo, offering two pieces of Marrybrown’s signature chicken, crispy kriuk kriuk, and special sambal sauce, priced from RM19.50.
For those with hearty appetites, the Ayam Penyet Box Meal offers a satisfying combination of flavours, including Ayam Penyet Burger, a piece of Ayam Penyet, regular-sized fries and Green Apple Fizz with Chewy Pearls, priced from RM26.90.
Fans could also quench their thirst with the refreshing Green Apple Fizz with Chewy Pearls infused with the essence of green apple and adorned with delightful pearls, available with all combo meals.
Dessert lovers could also enhance their meal with a delectable Chocolate Pie, featuring a rich and creamy chocolate filling encased in a flaky pastry crust, priced from RM4.50.
