KOTA BHARU - Malaysia's pioneering digital Islamic studies madrasah BeDaie has allocated a generous sum of RM100,000 to 10 individuals for reciting the Al-Quran on its social media platform throughout this Ramadan.

BeDaie founder Muhammad Amar Mirza Abd Kadir Jailani said that the initiative aims to inspire the public to engage in Quranic recitation and earn continuous rewards during the blessed month.

He noted that BeDaie will conduct screening and selection for the participants and each selected individual will receive RM10,000 from the total allocation provided.

"In today's digital era, it's crucial for Muslims not to neglect the Quran.

"That's why we'll be hosting live Quran recitations on TikTok throughout Ramadan.

"We expect the Quran to be recited multiple times during this period," he said.

He further revealed that the chosen individuals will take turns reciting the Quran for a month, and there are still openings for those proficient in Quranic recitation to fill all the slots for the entire month.

This initiative marks the first of its kind and is anticipated to continue in the future.
