Super T have joined hands for an event that coincides with the approaching Aidilfitri. Theme “Bougie Kampung”, the exclusive pop up affair is curated by carefully by the four dynamic brands that have each become a household name in the local fashion scene.
In the fashion industry, trends change as swiftly as the seasons but six ambitious individuals found success not only through their respective businesses but through a lasting friendship.
They say that fashion is a bonding business, and this particular sextet takes that to new heights. We’re talking about TudungPeople founder Fazrena Aziz, Cuura founder Sarah Shah Nor, Olloum founder Sumayyah Nasaruddin as well as the three sisters behind the brands Calaqisya - Farah Illyana, Farah Mislina and Farah Azrina Khairuddin.
It’s not easy to make friends in the world of business, but this group has found comfort in navigating the highs and lows of business in fashion.
Those who follow their social media accounts would know that from their shared love of travel and the bonds forged during their adventures together, the group who call themselves “Super T” has embarked on a new destination - Desinasi Super T at The Starhill Kuala Lumpur.
Here, Super T has joined hands for an event that coincides with the approaching Aidilfitri. Theme “Bougie Kampung”, the exclusive pop-up affair is curated carefully by the four dynamic brands that have each become a household name in the local fashion scene.
Walk around the event venue and you’ll find interesting installations that reflect the “Bougie Kampung” theme. Here, you can find your essentials for Raya from these four brands - Calaqisya, Olloum, Cuura and Asal Lelaki, which is a sub-brand from Calaqisya catered for men.
Apparently, the idea for the event came towards the end of 2023. Sarah, who owns Cuura previously hosted a pop-up event at the same location, and was invited by Starhill to organise another.
“I thought, what better way to do this than with my friends?” said Sarah.
“Although we are all in the fashion and beauty industry together, our brands present different products to our customers.
“It’s amazing for a prestigious location like Starhill to welcome local brands to showcase our collections,” she added.
Pastel hues, delicate silhouettes, floral and ribbon motifs decorate the racks across the atrium. Here you’ll be able to find an entire outfit for Raya, or sportswear for you to get back on track after stuffing yourselves with yummy Raya treats, skincare products and even something for the men.
Throughout the festival, visitors will get to immerse themselves in a variety of engaging activities and experiences, including the launch of exclusive products, health lectures, and special promotions.
To give you a sneak peek, Olloum will have a wellness talk on Feb 27, Cuura will host a “Skin Talk” with Dr Ingky, and on Feb 29, visitors can participate in an entrepreneurship talk. And when you purchase products from these brands, you can stand a chance to receive special Super T goodies.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of this inaugural event, where you can meet the six formidable brand owners and travel through the “Bougie Kampung”.
