Two days ago, the reign of our 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Al-Sultan Abdullah ended.

Five special years in which His Majesty has witnessed a very extraordinary political era.

There is no other Yang di-Pertuan Agong who faces five Prime Ministers.

During his reign, the Sheraton Move event took place which overthrew the government elected by the people – the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government.

His Majesty also witnessed Barisan Nasional's (BN) heavy defeat again in 2022.

PH's narrow victory in the 15th general election made it difficult for a government to be formed.

His Majesty was the one who proposed a 'unity government' even though it was flatly rejected by Tan Sri Muhyiddin and his friends in Perikatan Nasional (PN).

During his reign, Malaysian politics was very turbulent.
