Karangkraf Warehouse Sale is back
The much-anticipated sale will kick off from Jan 25 to Feb 4.
NURUL AISYAH MOHD BASARUDDINSHAH ALAM - The first Karangkraf warehouse sale of 2024 is here, inviting book enthusiasts to immerse themselves in a treasure trove of books, novels and Quran editions by Karya Bestari.
The much-anticipated sale will kick off from Jan 25 to Feb 4.
Grup Buku Karangkraf head of marketing department Anis Syamila Abdul Halim said the theme this time is #RoadToRamadhan and it will be the largest sale of the Quran in Malaysia.
She said the initiative was implemented to encourage visitors to get the Quran for promotional prices with attractive offers.
"In addition to offering book discounts up to 80 per cent, we also hold weekend activities such as colouring competitions, DIY bookmark crafts, Ramadan crosswords and others.
"Students who come to the Karangkraf Warehouse Sale dressed in school uniform will receive notebooks for free.
"The same goes for those who wear yellow clothes on weekends or public holidays, they will get free marshmallows," she said.
In last year's warehouse sale, there were a variety of reading materials with discounts of up to 80 per cent and lucky visitors had the chance to win more than RM1,000 as well as exciting prices through the 'Buy & Win' contest.
Commenting further, Anis said a special feature this time is that visitors will not only get to shop but also have a chance to win a lucky draw worth up to RM1,500.
She said there will also be three competitions through the Khalifa Stage such as the Hafazan Competition, the Azan Competition and the Prophet's Storytelling Competition focusing on primary school students.
"So the public is invited to attend the event this year at the Karangkraf Group Complex and meet the 10 great writers who will be with us.
"Among them are Aini Bakar (Koyak), Normaliza Mahadi (Sebelum Berdua), Fazrul Ismail and Tirmizi Ali (Yang Bertakwa Pasti Berjaya), Elly Jalil (Rezeki Detik Terakhir), Nadhrah Husna (Duhai Pemilik Hati) and many more," she said.
