Family begs for dashcam footage following hit-and-run motorcycle crash

SHAH ALAM – The family of a 15-year-old teenager who was killed in a hit-and-run incident at Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) on Sunday urges witnesses to come forward to provide dashcam footage or information pertaining to the accident immediately.

In the 12.40am incident, the victim Daniel Aizat Faisal Izzat who was riding a motorcycle from the direction of Kampung Pasir heading towards Gombak was hit by a lorry that immediately fled the scene.

The victim’s aunty Amalina Mohd Najib said that the victim sustained injuries on his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

She urged witnesses of the incident to come forward to the police to assist investigation and bring justice to the family.

“We plead for those who witnessed the incident or possibly caught the accident on their dashcams to come forward and relay the information to the police so the perpetrator can be caught.

“We know that we cannot bring Daniel back, but we hope that we can bring justice to the family,” she told Sinar Daily.

Police report had been lodged over the incident.

In a post published on ‘Friends of Trafik Ampang’ Facebook page, a picture of the lorry was enclosed, showing a dark-coloured lorry which was captured on camera.
