It would have been just another quiet, peaceful Sunday afternoon for residents of an apartment in Taman Puchong Prima but they were shocked by the sound of gunshots firing and screaming of men who commanded the residents to stay indoors.

It turned out that an individual sought by law enforcement happened to be in the area and he was shot by the police after a gunfight with cops.

The deceased was later revealed as a man wanted by the police and had record of seven criminal offences as well as six narcotics-related charges.

Chronology of Events:

The episode unfolded at approximately 3.50pm when the police encountered the suspect driving a Toyota Camry.

Despite repeated and stern orders to halt, the defiant fugitive chose to ignore the authorities' commands.

With a chilling disregard for authority, the man then brandished a firearm, plunging the tranquil neighbourhood into chaos.
